💍 Last-minute or eloping? We do same-day and after-hours ceremonies. Bring your Florida marriage license and we'll take care of the rest.

A Florida notary can solemnize your marriage

Under section 117.045, Florida Statutes, a Florida notary public is authorized to perform marriage ceremonies anywhere in the state. That means you do not need to find a separate minister or judge — your notary can officiate, sign your marriage license, and make it official.

What you need before the ceremony

Your Florida marriage license

  • Get it from any Florida county clerk's office before the ceremony.
  • Florida residents: a 3-day waiting period applies unless you complete a state-approved premarital course.
  • Non-residents: no waiting period.
  • The license is valid for 60 days from issuance.

On the day

  • Bring the marriage license and valid photo ID.
  • Florida does not require witnesses, though you are welcome to have them.
  • We perform the ceremony, you exchange your vows, and we complete and sign the license.
  • We return the signed license to the clerk so your marriage is recorded.
